A Cozy 50 sq.m. Space Designed for Comfort and Connection

In just 50 square meters, we managed to create a multifunctional space that brings together several distinct zones: a kitchen with a large marble island and bar counter, a dining area centered around a big wooden table, a lounge with a decorative fireplace, and a living room featuring a spacious sofa and a home cinema projector. This layout makes the space perfect for spending quality time with family and close friends.

Thoughtful Lighting Design for Different Moods

A special emphasis was placed on lighting design. We carefully planned multiple types of light sources — LED accent lighting, hanging pendants above the bar, recessed spotlights, and track lighting — all contributing to different moods and functions within the same room.

Natural Light and Warm Finishes

The open-plan kitchen-living area benefits from plenty of natural light thanks to large windows. The window openings are finished in dark graphite wood, adding warmth and texture to the overall look.

Functional and Open Kitchen Layout

The kitchen cabinetry omits upper storage units to keep the space feeling visually light and open. Instead, storage is concentrated below in numerous built-in cabinets. In place of traditional wall cabinets, an open shelf made from the same material as the countertop adds both functionality and style — a great spot to display beautiful dishes or decorative objects.

Kitchen Island as the Heart of the Home

At the heart of the kitchen island sits the cooktop, topped with a round island hood. The island also offers space for casual breakfasts and conversations. Additionally, a wine cooler is seamlessly integrated into the island’s design, making it a true centerpiece for entertaining.

Compact Yet Elegant and Functional

This project proves that even a compact space can offer comfort, elegance, and thoughtful functionality when designed with care.
