Wave house
Architects - Vitaly zlobin, Egor Kholodenko, Alexey Pavlov
The history of the creation of the project:
"We have reached an impasse. The customer has set us a difficult task on facades," the team leader of this project told me. It's not my first year in management and I know that one out of ten projects is always difficult.
Usually the guys manage without my participation. So I was interested, what happened? "The layouts have been agreed. The customer saves money, does not want complicated and expensive facades. The house has a simple shape and it needs to be made interesting somehow," the architect answered my question. I was shown a plot diagram, floor plans and a 3D model.
If you work on the same project for a long time, willy-nilly the eye begins to "blur". This is when your brain is tired of sorting through the options of facades in your imagination in an attempt to solve the puzzle "it's cheap, but beautiful.
" I teach my children the basic rules of shaping and creative search on this basis. Firstly, small windows could not be left as such. They need to be visually made more by finishing the facades. Secondly, they need to be stretched to the top and bottom of the floors. The volumes are too oblong, they need vertical divisions. I noticed that my architect turned the hanging console slightly. I liked this decision because the dynamics of form appeared – an important quality of a modern home. Simple white overhangs were not enough. We wrapped the wooden lining of their bottom up so that a wooden cornice with a frequent planken rhythm appeared.
The guys did the rest themselves in a couple of days. The facade was coordinated from the first time. The customer admitted that he was even willing to pay extra during construction just to make it exactly like in the picture. The emotions were so strong. Now we are doing the working documentation for the construction of this house. A house that evokes emotions is what we work for.

Architectural and planning solution of the house:
Access to the site is provided from the south-west side, where there is a canopy for 2 vehicles and a porch. The house stretches from west to east, one-storey with a flat roof and a basement.
On the south side of the house there is a ramp for descending to the site. There is an entrance hall at the entrance to the house. From the hallway we get into the corridor, from which there is access to the study, a master bedroom with its own bathroom and wardrobe, two children's rooms, as well as a shared bathroom.
After passing through the corridor, we find ourselves in a small hall separating the public area from the residential one. From the hall we have access to a guest bathroom, a laundry room, a heat generator room with a separate porch, a staircase to the ground floor, as well as to the kitchen-living room.
Going down the stairs to the ground floor, we find ourselves in a corridor from which there is access to a shower room, through which you can get to the sauna, a bathroom and a line room, through which we get to the technical room and a pantry with a workshop, as well as a recreation room. From the recreation room we can get to the spacious terrace, which is located under the terrace-balcony. From the terrace, a garden path leads to the pavilion.
